Talent is everywhere - but opportunity isn't. Girls remain consistently underrepresented in advanced mathematics and STEM pathways, not due to lack of ability, but often due to limited visibility, encouragement, or access to meaningful challenge.
We're committed to changing that.
Our Girls in STEM initiative is aimed to inspire, support, and elevate girls who are ready to explore the beauty and power of mathematical thinking. Through mentorship, outreach, and visibility, we aim to build a more inclusive future - starting in the classroom.
We invite outstanding female students aged 16+ to become Archimedes Ambassadors - mentoring younger participants, leading enrichment sessions, and encouraging confident mathematical exploration within their communities.
We feature female role models across our platforms - students, alumni, academics, and professionals - who share their journeys in STEM, helping girls to see what’s possible and feel that they belong.
Our specially curated challenge materials highlight real-world applications and celebrate the contributions of women in science and mathematics. These are used in clubs, classrooms, and outreach events around the world.
We run themed outreach events around key dates such as the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, with guest speakers, interactive problem-solving, and career insights.
Girls with mathematical potential often go unseen - especially those who are thoughtful, curious, and quietly capable. By providing early encouragement and visible pathways, we help unlock that potential and connect it to real opportunities in further study, careers, and leadership.
We’re building a future where every girl who loves to solve problems feels seen, valued, and supported.
If you're a student, educator, university, or organisation interested in partnering with us to promote gender equity in mathematics, we would love to hear from you.
